SocialScreen Virtual 1

This platform consists of a projector mounted within a tower and a retroreflective floor. An infrared camera and illuminator array is located within the projector tower as well. The projector and camera connect to a computer in a nearby cabinet or within the tower via firewire and VGA cables. Power is required to the projector tower as well as the computer cabinet.

SocialScreen Virtual 2

This platform consists of two walls, a retroreflective capture wall behind the interactive area and a projection surface in front. An infrared camera and illuminator array is located beneath the projection surface on the front wall and the projector is mounted at the top of the capture wall. The projector connects to a computer in a nearby cabinet via VGA cables and the camera connects to the computer via firewire cables. Power is required in both walls for the camera and projector as well as the computer cabinet. The interactive space is located near the capture wall and an acrylic barrier should be placed in front of the projection surface to prevent participants from moving too close to the camera.
