A: The configurations for SocialScreen requires a 10' (3m) ceiling to mount the projector out of reach. The minimum wall-space necessary is 9' x 7' (2.65m x 2m) with a minimum footprint of 12’ x 12’ (3.6m x 3.6m) for traffic on the floor. We are capable of creating experiences that take up entire rooms and exhibit halls, when space and budget allow.
Q: What is the ideal environment to install the platform?
A: The SocialScreen platform works best in an environment with moderate light levels. There should be no halogen lights in the vicinity and no direct sunlight on the capture or projection surfaces. However, ambient light is important, so that people are able to see each other, interact socially together, and move freely around the space. Extra space should be available around the sides of the platform for crowd flow and for observers.
Q: What are the components of the platform system?

Q: How long does it take to install the platform?
A: The standard timeline for a platform with a catalog product is three months from contract signing to installation. Customized and unique content normally requires a longer time-frame. Please contact us for rush jobs and accurate time-lines for your project.
Q: What are the maintenance procedures for platforms with a projector?
A: Typical maintenance consists of keeping the projection and wall or floor capture surfaces clean as well as maintaining the projector and replacing bulbs and filters on a regular basis. Bulb replacement time varies depending on how long the experiences remain active each day. Typical bulb life is 2000 hours.
