You and Me – Franklin Institute Science Museum

http://www2.fi.edu/exhibits/traveling/identity/
The Franklin Institute Science Museum contracted Snibbe Interactive to create a series of new projects for their traveling exhibit on identity.

You and We is an interactive hexagonal floor installation that explores how others help define who we are. The exhibit uses color to illustrate how relationships and connections influence personal identity.

Three of Me splits visitors' shadows into three distinct silhouettes, each textured to represent a different facet of personal identity: physical, social, and psychological. When a visitor stands in one place, his three silhouettes overlap, illustrating how these three dimensions of our identities combine to make us who we are

In Unique Me, visitors use their shadows to answer questions about themselves. Images representing the choices they make fill up their silhouettes, creating a unique portrait for each visitor.
