Digital P.R. and Marketing Maven
Snibbe Interactive is seeking a passionate, creative Digital P.R. and Marketing Maven to manage and create press and marketing materials for our products and projects through web, video, social media, and online channels. The position is approximately half-time.
Key skills required:
- Demonstrated ability to translate product and project information into P.R. and Marketing stories
- Ability to understand both technical and creative aspects of our unique business in social interactive media
- Understanding the needs of our clients and how to target writing and media to their mindset
- Understanding of how to write for search engine optimization (SEO)
- Ability to work independently, proactively, passionately, and creatively to gather information and synthesize it into succinct forms
- Ability to write video scripts and supervise the editing and production of promotional video
- Understanding of one or more of the following markets: out-of-home advertising, entertainment, museums, events, hospitals, and healthcare
Job responsibilities include:
- Write and edit copy for products and projects, and expand website structure and content
- Write and edit press releases
- Write and edit blog entries
- Write and edit video scripts, schedule video shoots, and supervise voice-over recording and video editing for maximum marketing impact
- Manage and post to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, blog entries, and other social media channels
You will work closely with the company founder and business, creative, and technical staff.
