Contract iPad Developer for Augmented Reality, 3D Applications
Snibbe Interactive (www.snibbeinteractive.com), an award winning, world-renowned social interactive media company, is seeking a software engineer with iPad development experience for a highly engaging two month immersive media project. We are looking for an independent engineer who is an expert with 3D graphics and has a desire to deliver beautiful interactive iOS projects. You will create a physically reactive iPad application that incorporates 3D computer graphics, the accelerometer, and GPS at Snibbe Interactive's centrally located San Francisco location. Key skills required:
- iOS programming - Objective-C, Cocoa touch, iPad, accelerometer, GPS.
- 3D Computer graphics programming.
- Software engineering using Apple frameworks and interfaces.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Skills and interest in the following areas are also useful:
- Masters' degree or equivalent in Computer Science (Graphics or Interface)
- Experience with Game development tools - Unity, or other.
Responsibilities:
- Design and program an interactive iPad app from start to finish.
- Generalize program modules for use in other projects.
- Document your work with comments, source control logs, wiki entries.
- Debugging and testing of your work.
- Work closely with creative staff to translate designs and concepts into software systems.
- Communicate with engineering, project management, business and creative staff regularly and effectively.
