3D Character Modeling and Animation Artist
Snibbe Interactive is seeking a contract 3D Character Modeling and Animation Artist. Your responsibilities will be to create 3D models and animations for immersive, interactive installations. Snibbe Interactive is a fast-growing company that creates large-scale personalized interactive experiences for science museums, branding and entertainment. Some of our recent installations have taken place at The Beijing Olympics, the California Academy of Sciences, the London Science Museum, Sony's New York Headquarters and many others. Our work has unique charactertistics of bringing joy, social engagement and meaning to the everyday lives of ordinary people.
Key Skills Required:
- Demonstrated excellence in 3D modeling (online portfolio or samples required).
- Experience with meshing, skinning, rigging, texture maps, and animation.
- Well-versed with desktop 3D character modeling software (Maya, 3DStudioMax, etc).
- Access to 3D software of choice.
- Confident, compassionate demeanor and calm in the face of deadlines and changes.
Responsibilities:
- Skillfully model, texture, and rig a variety of 3D figures.
- Create short 3D animations of characters to be used within game like environments.
- Work collaboratively with other creative, engineering and business staff.
