Scott Snibbe Founder/CEO | |

Scott Snibbe is an entrepreneur, researcher, and artist who pioneered interactive projections more than fifteen years ago. He has held high-level engineering and management positions at Adobe Systems and Interval Research Corporation and is an author on over a dozen patents for interactive media technologies. In addition to commercial works, Snibbe’s interactive media art is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum, and other prominent institutions. Scott has received research grants and awards from the National Science Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, Rockefeller Foundation and Ford Foundation. A regular worldwide speaker, Scott has held teaching and research positions at UC Berkeley, NYU’s Courant Institute of Mathematics, San Francisco Art Institute, and California Institute for the Arts. He holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and a dual B.A. in Computer Science/Animation from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of design. Scott is the founder of Snibbe Interactive, Inc. whose focus is the commercialization of personalized social interactive media; and Sona Research, an organization dedicated to research into the socially beneficial applications of interactive technologies.

Alan Shimoide Engineering Director | |

Alan Shimoide is a founding engineer of Snibbe Interactive, Inc. He has a background in scientific research and computer science. He holds a bachelor’s in biochemistry from the University of California Los Angeles and a master’s in computer science from San Francisco State University. Alan has worked at UCLA, the West Los Angeles VA Hospital, Amgen, and Prism Vision, a startup developing a 3D scanner. Shimoide has researched and published many academic papers on topics including pancreatic cancer, Web-based scientific computing, wavelet-based bioinformatics, computer vision–based tracking of insect and animal behaviors, and structured light-based 3D scanning. |

He has built dynamic sales and business development teams at start-ups and established companies including Digidesign (acquired by Avid), Kick (acquired by Sony USA), HarmonyCentral, DinnerBroker and Earthlink. |

Tom Meyer CTO | |

Tom Meyer has worked with a number of early Internet startups, including InterVU (now part of Akamai) and Impulse! (now part of Yahoo!). He has published research in collaborative environments, object models, user interfaces, and hypertext. He was a member of the VRML Architecture Group, which developed the VRML 2.0 standard (included as part of MPEG-4), and he helped to found the VRML Consortium. While at First Virtual Holdings (now part of DoubleClick), he developed the first Java-based interactive advertising banners, and architected a toolkit to simplify the creation of the extremely small (10-12k) but rich advertisements. Tom is the author of eight patents on Internet, digital entertainment, and telecommunications applications. He has worked on VR-based scientific visualization systems for NASA and was the technical director of the first feature-length film on the Internet, WAXweb - also the very first VRML site. Tom Meyer has a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University. He also studied traditional animation at the Rhode Island School of Design. |

Graham Plumb Creative Director | |

Graham Plumb, Creative Director, is a world-class interaction and exhibit designer who most recently held a senior design position at Ralph Appelbaum Associates, one of the world’s foremost exhibit design firms. Graham has also worked as an exhibit designer at Gyroscope, Inc., West Office Exhibit Design, Academy Studios, and IDEO. He has designed the exhibit schemes for over forty museums worldwide; has won numerous international design awards; and is a graduate of the esteemed Interaction Design Program of the Royal College of Art in London. |

Trishan Arul CFO | |

Trishan Arul brings fifteen years experience in financial measurement, reporting, strategic planning and analysis in a variety of companies and industries, from start-ups to multinational, publicly held companies. Most recently Trishan worked as CFO at Zume Live, Corporate Controller at the Marcus & Millichap Company, a diversified national real estate firm. Previously, he served as Controller for McMorgan & Company LLC, an institutional investment management firm and wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Company. Previous start-up experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for Sonamo Collaborative Media, Inc., a media and entertainment marketing software company. Trishan also served as Business Development Manager and Financial Controller for Interval Research Corporation, a broadband consumer technology research lab, and held several positions at Spar Aerospace Limited. Trishan began his career in finance at Arthur Anderson & Company in Toronto, Ontario. Trishan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Chartered Accountant. He holds a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo and a B.A., Honors Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario. |
