Doug Solomon Chief Technology Officer, IDEO | |

Doug Solomon is the Chief Technology Officer at IDEO, working with clients to leverage technologies that create both business and social value. With more than 25 years of leadership experience in the information technology industry, Doug has a particular expertise in collaborative technologies that enable greater community engagement and participation. Prior to IDEO, Doug was Vice President of Investments at Omidyar Network, helping pioneer a new approach to socially impactful investing. Doug served as the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Strategy Officer at Apple Computer and at Palm Computing, and has held leadership roles at Interval Research and several technology startups. Doug began his career by applying marketing and other business concepts to public health programs in Asia, where he learned the importance of cultural awareness and community involvement in achieving meaningful social change. Doug is a volunteer chaplain at Stanford Hospital, and a devoted father and husband. He holds a Masters’ Degree from the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii, and a Ph.D. in Communication Research from Stanford University. |

Adam Seever President, ReThink Marketing | |

Adam Seever is a seasoned marketing professional with over twenty years’ experience working for the Coca-Cola Company, IMG Worldwide, Clear Channel Entertainment and Frankel & Company/ARC Worldwide. At Frankel & Company, Adam managed McDonald’s celebrity sports endorsements including Michael Jordan, Dale Earnhardt, Bill Elliott, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Emerson Fittipaldi; and their motor sports programs including NASCAR and Indy Car. At Coca-Cola, Adam ran domestic event marketing including the Super Bowls, Coca-Cola 600’s, NBA All-Star Games, The World Cup, the Olympics and a host of other major properties. As VP of Field Services at ClearChannel, Adam managed all US-based operations for their live marketing division including the NCAA, Kodak, XM Radio, The Sci-Fi Channel, Animal Planet TV and Levi Strauss. Adam has also managed Olympic clients for IMG Worldwide and with Tula Communications, working with Miller Brewing Company and the recording artist Usher. Recently, through his recently formed company ReThink Marketing, Seever was instrumental in designing and installing a 50’‘ iconic Coca-Cola bottle in Atlanta to serve as the Company’s centerpiece for their long standing sponsorship of the Atlanta Braves. |

David Simons Principal Scientist, Adobe Systems | |

David Simons is a Principal Scientist at Adobe Systems in Dynamic Media Advanced Product Development. He is one of the co-founders of CoSA, the company that created After Effects, which was acquired by Aldus Corporation in 1993 and Adobe Systems in 1994. After Effects has become one of the top software applications for the visual effects and motion graphics industries producing tens of millions in annual revenue for Adobe. David served as the Engineering Manager for After Effects for fourteen years before moving into his current senior position at Adobe. David is named on more than ten patents relating to digital compositing and animation and holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Brown University. |
